Rehearsal Space Hire

Alford House has provided rehearsal facilities to a wide range of theatre companies for over 40 years.

We know that each company has different needs and we try hard to meet them. We don’t pretend we can meet these needs when we can’t. We want happy customers and would rather point you in another direction if we feel we are unsuitable.

Price Information

Prices are based on a Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm working day and are subject to VAT

Prices for spaces range from £590 to £925 per week.
Production Offices from £160.00 per week.
Saturdays and overtime in each space are charged at £25.00 per hour.

NOTE: General Restrictions

Unless exclusive use has been agreed the floor space must be cleared at the end of each day, except Thursdays & Saturdays. (This does not include offices or wardrobe space hired).

Urns & kettles can NOT be accommodated in any rehearsal or office area.

Additonal Spaces

Office/Wardrobe – A flexible space for either office, or wardrobe (or both) or even additional breakout space. Measuring approximately 5m x 5m each, it can be hired with any reahersal space.

Located on the ground floor.

Office or Wardrobe – Another flexible space for either a production office, wardrobe or breakout. Approximately 6m x 5m. Located on the lower ground floor.

Other Facilities

We are pleased to offer the following additional facilities:

Meeting room – hire by the hour, room for up to 14 people to meet.

Lounge – There is the lounge area for you to relax in. Tea and coffee is available to purchase at low prices and there is a cold drink vending machine. There is also a water cooler available. We will store food in our fridge and microwave for you at lunch time.

Wireless IT – Free internet access. Using Apple Airport Extreme our wireless network has a range that covers most of the building. All you need is hardware, Mac or PC, with wireless facilities.

Photocopying/Printing – No petty cash needed. Charges will be added to your final invoice. Our copier can be picked up on our network.

Free car parking – Car parking is free, but please note we are located in the Congestion Charge Zone. There is space for appoximately 10 cars but we encourage all those attending rehearsals to use public transport.
